Fae A. Ellington CD, MA

Fae A. Ellington has taught Broadcast Announcing and Presentation at the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication, CARIMAC, University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica, since 1985. She had a brief stint as Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the Northern Caribbean University in Mandeville, Manchester.
She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Communication from the University of the West Indies, Mona.
Miss Ellington is a specialist broadcaster for national events and was a news anchor and programme presenter/producer in Radio and Television for over 30 years. She was trained at the Jamaica School of Drama, the British Broadcasting Corporation and CARIMAC. She is a communication consultant, trainer/facilitator and coach in platform and media skills. Miss Ellington is also a British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, certified trainer.
She is chairman of the Jamaica Information Service (JIS), serves as director on other boards and is patron of the Clarendon 4 H Clubs. Miss Ellington is also a member of the Access to Information Appeal Tribunal.
