Fae A. Ellington has taught Broadcast Announcing and Presentation at the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication, CARIMAC, University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica, since 1985. She had a brief stint as Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the Northern Caribbean University in Mandeville, Manchester.

She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Communication from the University of the West Indies, Mona.

Miss Ellington is a specialist broadcaster for national events and was a news anchor and programme presenter/producer in Radio and Television for over 30 years.

She was trained at the Jamaica School of Drama, the British Broadcasting Corporation and CARIMAC.

She is a communication consultant, trainer/facilitator and coach in platform and media skills.

Miss Ellington is also a British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, certified trainer.

She is chairman of the Jamaica Information Service (JIS), serves as director on other boards and is patron of the Clarendon 4 H Clubs.
Miss Ellington is a member of the Access to Information Appeal Tribunal.
