Appointment of new Principal Director – Dr. Gavin Myers

The chairman of NATIONAL INTEGRITY ACTION (NIA), Dr. Lynden Rose, announces the appointment by the Board of Directors of Dr. GAVIN MYERS as Principal Director of the organization effective January 1, 2026.

The appointment follows the recent resignation of Ms. Danielle Archer as Principal Director. Dr. Myers has a PhD in Management Studies from the Faculty of Business and Law, the Open University, United Kingdom, and a first degree in International Relations and Political Science from the University of the West Indies, Mona.

Gavin has expertise in Voluntary Sector Management, Community Outreach and Development, and Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is a certified Restorative Justice Facilitator, and a Trainer in Youth Development and Community Research and Engagement.

Dr. Myers has conducted research and led community and social projects in Jamaica, the Caribbean, and the UK. He was previously employed to NIA as a Community Outreach Officer and an Event Coordinator between June 2016 and March 2020.

NIA welcomes Dr. Myers back into the fold, in his new role as the leader of the organization. We have every confidence that his training and experience will redound to the benefit of NIA, and our anti-corruption work and advocacy.
