Single anti-corruption agency committee set up

An advisory committee has been set up to guide the speedy formulation of a policy for the establishment of the proposed single anti-corruption body.

The current bill for the establishment of the agency which was prepared by the previous administration has been found to have serious gaps and so it could not be advanced.

Justice Minister, Senator Mark Golding said his committee has been tasked to examine the matter, consult with the relevant stakeholders and put forward a proposal on the agency.
