ACB wants public to report corruption

The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is urging members of the public to report all instances of corrupt practices by members of the JCF and its auxiliaries.

The ACB said it is aware that some members of the JCF have been involved in the extortion of money from motorists.

It said this practice is unethical, unlawful and goes against standards of the organisation.

“The JCF does not tolerate corrupt behavior, and members are being warned that they should cease and desist from all unethical, illegal and immoral practices,” the ACB said in a news release.

It said the branch has been robust in tackling corruption within the constabulary and ensuring that perpetrators face the full extent of the law.
